- In 2007, during the proposed construction stage of Jilin Banmiaozi Gold mine, the geological hazard assessment showed that the engineering construction of the mining industrial zone may cause and suffer the medium-danger level of collapse disaster. Accordingly, the company strictly implements the work of geological disaster prevention. By controlling the excavation area of the opening and slope of mining area, timely supporting measures are taken to prevent the occurrence of collapse disasters.
- In 2019, due to the planned expansion of mining scale, the company once again conducted geological disaster status and hidden dangers investigation in the mining area. No geological disasters such as collapse, ground collapse and ground cracks were found in the investigation, and the possibility and danger of such disasters were predicted to be small. In the future, the company will also continue to implement dynamic monitoring of mine geological environment problems to timely discover and eliminate geological hazards.
