Inner Mongolia Yulong Mining Co., Ltd. is located in Bayan Hua Town, West Ujimqin Banner, Inner Mongolia. It was established in 2002 and acquired by Silvercorp Metals Inc. in 2012. It is a joint-stock company engaged in geological exploration, development, utilization, and sales of mineral products. Its main products include lead concentrate powder (containing silver) and zinc concentrate powder.
The company currently holds six exploration rights and two mining rights.
The Hua'aobao Te silver-lead mine covers an area of 1.7093 square kilometers and adopts underground mining with vertical shaft development. The development system consists of main and auxiliary shafts combined with auxiliary ramps. The hoisting system comprises five shafts: four auxiliary shafts primarily for transporting personnel, materials, and excavated waste rock, and one main shaft responsible for hoisting all mined ore. The mining methods mainly include shallow-hole backfill mining, segmented void backfill mining, and upward-horizontal layered backfill mining.
The company has built two concentrators with daily processing capacities of 1400 tons and 2000 tons respectively.
The company has consistently placed high importance on the harmonious integration of mining development and environmental protection throughout its development process. It actively fulfills its social responsibilities and has become a key non-ferrous mining enterprise in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
In 2019, it was included in the national-level Green Mining Directory (the first in Xiwuqi), and the same year it was recognized as a high-tech enterprise. In 2020, it was awarded as one of the "Top 10 Private Enterprises in Xilin Gol League," and in 2021, it was honored as a "Model Enterprise for Ethnic Unity and Progress in the Whole Region."
